I'll update the rest of this story later. This is a serious bug that must be reported to Mozilla Corporation in regards of Firefox. I did everything in my power to make it work again, but it couldn't on my end. Although yes, I can use Waterfox as my temporal replacement, but it still kinda does not make any sense on how Flash won't work on Firefox. Does it actually work and use Adobe Flash with no problem? Much to my surprise, yes it does! I can do all those things that involve using Adobe Flash Player with no problem with Waterfox! It may have been built differently, but it works the same as Firefox basically, as my bookmarks and options are carried between each other. But then I was given Waterfox by another friend that was voice-chatting with me as we discussed the issue. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. It's been occurring ever since last night and I could not fix the problem, at all. Shockingly, it works with Google Chrome and Internet Explorer. The Beta version wouldn't let me run a program to operate my scanner, so I had to use the official ActiveX version. A scanner that requires Adobe Flash for it to work) and NPAPI which is used for Firefox and other browsers. One is ActiveX which is meant for Internet Explorer and I also need that for my HP Scanner (Yeah. I know I got the latest version of Adobe Flash today that has the patches implemented to cover the security holes, but oddly, I got two versions. It's been reported that there was once again ANOTHER exploit with Adobe Flash that hackers are able to take advantage of. But anything else that doesn't use HTML5 such as Adobe Flash Player will not work on Firefox, regardless! So that means I can't view streams or go on DeviantArt chatrooms with Firefox, if it's gonna keep crashing my browser. Like you only send 1/8 of the data in a certain browser for some bizarre reason would lower the bandwidth Includes tests and PC download for 32-bit/64-bit systems Flash memory is a type of electronically erasable programmable read only memory (EEPROM), but may also be a standalone memory storage device such as a USB drive Because most browsers. ![]() HTML5 videos such as YouTube works fine on Firefox. I uninstalled and re-installed it several times and even tried the Beta version that a friend gave me of the newest Flash Player realized, but it brought no luck since it'd fail to load. But then I had to think on some ideas in hopes to solve the problem. I had to whip our Windows Task Manager and end the Firefox process and then load up Firefox again and not visit any place where Flash was to be used. I have no idea how this even happened at random to begin with, but it really scared me. I tried to stop it and tried to close out whichever place was using the Flash Player, but it did no good. I use Mozilla Firefox as my main internet browser, but stuff went downhill regarding the use of it! Last night when I was watching a friend's stream, my Adobe Flash Player keeps crashing and hanging my browser and I wouldn't stop getting unresponsive plugin warnings. I am so sorry for making a journal so suddenly, but this is absolutely horrible! This is absolutely scaring the ever-lasting daylights of me and I know that this whole story sounds like something that some crazy youngster would write, but please hear me out. Both for Waterfox and PortableApps.Hey guys, Blue here. I was just wondering whether you would be interested to adopt this into your portable portfolio? I'm not a developer but not opposed to generate my own portable version with the means that I have, but maybe it would attract some more users. It runs smoothly and even after days and days of usage (with two dozen open tabs) a lot faster with a lot less RAM-usage (a constant 1.3 to 1.5 GB, whereas Firefox climbed up to 2.2 GB) than Firefox. I'm using version 9 that I made portable myself by copying the program-folder inside one from your portable Firefox installation. Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings panel and click View advanced settings. To disable it, click the menu button in Edge and select Settings. However, I recently stumbled upon Waterfox ( ), that has since even been accepted by Mozilla. Microsoft Edge includes a built-in Flash plug-in, too in fact, this is the only browser plug-in Edge can even run. Unfortunately there are only nightly builds from Mozilla themselves with 64-bit support, but it will most likely never reach the end user (unless you agree to be an eternal alpha-tester). I searched the whole site for this app that I'm requesting now, but couldn't find any information.įirefox still is the most versatile browser, but the more intense usage you put into it, the more you will cripple it's performance. And foremost thank you for the great effort you put into PortableApps! I'm very proud to say I stuck with you long before my friends (who also keep switching to portable applications) or all the magazines around the world who are referring to you now.
